Description: I am not sure why but the look and feel of this rose reminds me of a sweet, cuddly baby. I guess it does make sense since the white rose is a symbol of purity and innocence. The color does have peach undertones - it’s not paper-white. Peach color may symbolize joy, which only adds to the baby association. When I look at the picture, I imagine how soft the petals of this rose are – soft like a baby’s arm. Maybe that’s the primary reason behind the young child comparison. In its totality, the image may symbolize memories of early motherhood. Why memories? Some of the petals on the photograph are dry. They represent ending. The lovely period in most mothers’ lives has ended, but the joy it brought has remained in their hearts. (Can this apply to fathers too?)
