Description: During one of my family’s weekend drives, we discovered a small lake or a pond. The sun was about to disappear behind the horizon, but the area around the lake was still busy with people enjoying their time near water. I saw an opportunity for a few beautiful shots, so we stopped and took some photographs. I love taking pictures of people in boats. Even better – a silhouette of a person in a boat with the flaming evening sky in the background. As for symbolism, when I look at the image one thought comes to mind – nature heals a lonely heart. Even when we feel alone in the world if we allow ourselves to get out and experience little wonders of a local forest reserve or a park with a lake view (like on the picture,) we may shed some of our sufferings and let our spirit soar.
