Description: I love the apparent fragility of naked branches in Winter. In this photograph, I wanted the trees to become the main focus of the composition, so I edited the original image in Photoshop to achieve it. This picture represents the neighborhood where old and new intertwine like the branches of the old and new trees. It’s not the best area in the city which, at some point was (and may still is) recorded as one of the most dangerous places in the United States, but it has gotten a beautiful soul as many 100-years-old-and-up places do. This photograph represents hope for the future. Not everything is lost yet. One day those trees will see their land becoming prosperous and desirable, even if the glorious day comes before they die.
