Description: I sketched this piece while looking out of the window of an apartment my family and I lived in when we first came to the US. Initially, I intended to create a landscape but couldn’t prevent myself from turning the picture into a magical scene. I appeared to draw somebody who is not present on a physical plane anymore (dead) and continued its existence in the form of some other-dimensional being. The image does not have to possess the straight-forward fairytale meaning - it may also represent an ability to see the wonder in everyday life and the miracle of nature’s influence on our state of mind.
