Description: This image is one of those works which had no intended focus – I saw the lines on paper, followed them and ended up with a part ram part tree. Have you noticed, the big-horn holds a little kitten in his arms? I feel this creature is a kind and powerful spirit of mountains (some specific mountains, I presume.) He lives inside a lonely tree. The Ram Tree spirit remains silent and unnoticed until some stranded traveler needs his help. The first sign of the spirit paying attention to the plea would be an unexpected appearance of a kitten-like shadow (or maybe even a ram). I could come up with a whole story about a stranded traveler and the Ram Tree spirit, but I won’t. In addition to potentially telling a story of an otherworldly creature, the artwork symbolizes endurance, assertiveness, ability to stay calm, collected and compassionate under challenging circumstances.
