Description: This image was one of the attempts to experiment with digital manipulation. I planned to create a series of photo-manipulation portraits. After a few tries, I gave up the idea for a while. I may still come back to it. At this point (11/06/2018), I’ve got four self-portraits, two portraits of strangers and one of a friend. I based the composition and the subject on the impression the model gave me. This woman seemed romantic, yet practical, spiritual (even religious), yet highly focused on material wealth. The composition and the subject reflected complicated relationships between various needs and beliefs of the individual.
