Description: I felt “Lucid Dream” was a perfect name for this image. A woman is dreaming (with the support of her spiritual guide) but watchful. Lucid Dream is the kind of dream where a person is aware he/she is sleeping and can control what happens. I have experienced Lucid Dreams since I was a child. For a while, I practiced to gain more control over the process, but in the end, gave up, since spontaneous, uncontrolled dreams were more exciting and relaxing. Most of the time I did not want to be aware. I wanted to submerge in the magical world and pretend it was real. Interestingly enough, as a young child, I was significantly better at Lucid Dreaming than as an adult. The artwork symbolizes the power of dreams - how they can help us understand ourselves and heal.
